Cuban foreign minister Felipe Perez Roque held talks Monday with his Iranian counterpart, Kamal Kharrazi, on expanding bilateral ties between the two countries, reported the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).
Both ministers, said the agency, called for the expansion
of bilateral, regional and international cooperation between Iran and Cuba.
Roque arrived Sunday in Tehran, the first leg of a tour that will also take him to Algeria, Turkey and Cyprus.
Kharrazi said Iran and Cuba need to use their experiences in
various sectors, and welcomed the bilateral cooperation in political and economic sectors -- Albawaba.com
The Cuban minister is due on Tuesday to hold talks with ministers of trade, economy and agriculture, said the agency -- Albawaba.com
