Cyprus’ President: UN Secretary General concerned about lack of progress in peace talks

United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan seems to be concerned with the absence of substantive progress in the Cyprus peace talks, President Glafcos Clerides believes, according to the Cyprus News Agency on Sunday.  

 

The Cypriot President said that due to this, Kofi Annan has invited him and the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community, Rauf Denktash for a meeting in the French capital of Paris in early September to see what could be done. (Albawaba.com)
