President of the Republic of Czech Vaclav Havel will arrive in Riyadh on Saturday, on an official two-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reported Saudi news agency (SPA) on Friday.
The agency did not elaborate on the purpose of the visit.
Saudi Arabia recognized the Czech Republic in 1994 and diplomatic relations were established the following year. Trade contacts have been executed directly, without the participation of third countries.
The Czech Republic has not signed any trade agreement or any other economic agreement with Saudi Arabia. However, both parties are engaged in negotiations as to how establish the most advantageous relations in this field, according to a Czech website (www.doingbusiness.cz) -- Albawaba.com
