Danish citizen shot in Saudi Arabia

A Danish resident was fired at by an unknown source after he came out from his place of work, according to a spokesman of Riyadh Region Police.

The Dane, working in one of the companies on Al-Kharj Road here, was in his car when a shot was fired at him. The incident occurred at 2.00pm Saturday. 

He sustained a bullet wound to his shoulder, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. The Dane was taken to a hospital for treatment. He was reported to be in a stable condition. The authorities concerned have started investigating the incident.
