ALBAWABA- A tragic incident has unfolded in Bangladesh, where a head-on collision between a freight train and a passenger train has claimed the lives of 17 people and left over 100 others injured. 

The collision occurred in Bhairab, an eastern city, when a freight train collided head-on with a passenger train, causing two passenger carriages to derail, according to officials.

The authorities are responding to the situation as they work to determine the causes behind this devastating accident.
