28 French companies will visit Abu Dhabi on 13th and 14th June, 2010 to showcase the French expertise in the civil nuclear field.
The purpose of the visit is to take stock of nuclear market opportunities in the UAE, and to explore the potential for commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
The French companies will meet the main decision-makers in the nuclear energy field, the Emirates' Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), the Public Agency in charge of the country's nuclear policy, and the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), to discuss possible partnerships.
Workshops will be organised at the EmiratesPalace. The ENEC will present the details of its nuclear project to the French delegation. The teams from the South Korean consortium will present their industrial vision of the project.
This trip will also be an opportunity for delegates to engage with the directors of the ENEC in meetings, particularly to discuss aspects of service.
