DHL, the region’s leading express and logistics provider, celebrated Bahraini women achievement this week during a Business Lunch held for DHL female employees at the Gulf Hotel. The lunch was organised to recognise the loyalty and commitment of all the Bahraini female employees at DHL.

20 women were invited to the lunch which is the first to include all female employees at the DHL Middle East Regional Distribution Centre and Country Office.

Russell Blake, General Manager at the DHL Middle East Regional Distribution Centre highlighted the importance of the initiative as part of the company’s attempt to celebrate the achievements of women in Bahrain saying: “Our Bahraini ladies are key to all that we achieve and we have enormous respect for them. We highly appreciate their commitment and expertise which contributes to advancing this company even further.”

DHL presented appreciative gifts for the Bahraini female employees’ efforts and commitment to their jobs.

DHL’s appreciation initiative is part of its constant strategy of Bahrainisation in the company. With 83% of its workforce Bahraini nationals, DHL Bahrain’s reputation as one of the leading employers of choice in the region is well known.
