Diyar al Muharraq sponsors the special education conference at royal university for women
Diyar Al Muharraq reaffirmed its commitment to the community – and children in particular – with the announcement of platinum sponsorship of the Inclusive and Special Education conference at the Royal University for Women. The initiative comes as part of Diyar Al Muharraq’s ongoing support to the Kingdom’s community development.
Held under the patronage of HE Majed Al Naeemi, the Minister of Education, the conference focused on practical understanding of methods, strategies and approaches for teaching students with special needs and behavior challenges.
Mr. Aaref Hejres, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, added: “It is our resolve to ensure our contribution to the development of youth in the Kingdom. Our ongoing sponsorship initiatives aim to provide various opportunities for the younger generation including those that need special care and attention. We are glad to be a part of this conference that will allow participants to see and experience examples of best practice in the design and delivery of individual and classroom instruction for students with special needs”.
“The value of helping the community is deeply embedded in our core values and as part of our social responsibility we will continue to play a leading role in developing all strata of society”, Mr. Hejres added.
Inclusive and Special Education is a full day mini conference for teachers, policy-makers, administrators and educators at all school levels who wish to gain a practical understanding of methods, strategies and approaches for teaching students with learning difficulties and behavior challenges.
Located on the northern shores of Muharraq, Diyar Al Muharraq will provide a cohesive mix of residential and commercial properties with housing opportunities for over 100,000 people in around 30,000 housing units. The fully-contained city will serve to strengthen Bahrain’s economy by creating a wealth of job opportunities and attracting foreign investment, as well as offering affordable high-quality housing to those with below average incomes, which will improve the quality of life for people of Bahrain.
