Dozens of people were killed Wednesday after rebels attacked a government security building in the northern city of Aleppo, Reuters reported.
Insurgents set off a bomb and launched a ground assault that caused dozens of casualties on both sides. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told Reuters reports suggested the bomb was set under or near the Air Force Intelligence building.
Aleppo is a city occupied by both government and rebel forces who are fighting for control. The UN is currently trying to broker a ceasefire between the groups.
