Drink & Fly with Evian winner announced at PAUL
Mr. Bachour Kerdahi will be pampered in the Alps, thanks to Evian
Evian, natural mineral water, announced the winner of their promotional Drink & Fly with Evian campaign. The “scratch-and-win” promotion, which began in May, culminated in a ceremony hosted at PAUL French Bakery, Pastry and Restaurant, in JBR, where one lucky diner won his grand prize.
The Drink & Fly promotion was running for the whole month of May, at different outlets throughout Dubai. Every purchase of Evian was accompanied by a scratch-and-win card, which led to the possibility of winning either complementary Evian water or a complementary meal from the restaurant. The Grand Prize was a trip for two to Evian Royal Resort in Evian-les-Bains, France. Mr. Bachour Kerdahi, the lucky Grand Prize winner, discovered his good luck while dinning at PAUL French Bakery, Pastry and Restaurant in JBR, a branch of Azadea Group in Dubai.
The Drink & Fly with Evian Grand Prize was presented to Mr. Kerdahi by Evian’s Senior Brand Manager, Mr. Khalil Naciri, at the ceremony at PAUL on Friday, May 29th 2009.  The violinist Desislava Makedonska spirited the evening with her “classics” repertory, including many French themes that matched PAUL’S French “ART DE VIVRE” and Evian’s allure.
“We launched the Drink & Fly promotion to engage our consumers more deeply with Evian,” stated Mr. Naciri. “The Evian Royal Resort is the perfect means of bringing consumers into the heart and soul of the brand. So, it’s by going back to the source of Evian that we can teach the world about the brand.”
Evian was on everyone’s lips on the celebratory evening, and the authentically French atmosphere of PAUL was the perfect setting for the lively event.
 “It’s true that Evian and PAUL have a great complicity,” remarked Said Rudy Haddad, F&B Operations Manager of PAUL “Both are built around values of authenticity, purity, quality. They both spread and defend the French way of living “L’ART DE VIVRE A LA FRANCAISE”. We are thrilled to have been able to host this delightful evening. We consider ourselves to be as lucky as Mr. Bachour Kerdahi, as if we won something too.”
Pleased by the success of the Drink & Fly promotion, Evian is already making plans for their next activity, to the delight of Evian aficionados throughout the Middle East.
