ALBAWABA - A drone attack on a Sudan market kills 28, AFP reported, citing witnesses and a medical source.

At least 28 were killed, and 23 others were injured when a drone struck a Sudanese market in the paramilitary-controlled town of Ghubaysh in West Kordofan.

Two witnesses revealed the drone struck a crowded restaurant at the town's main market, and attributed it to the Sudanese army.

The conflict in Sudan is a civil war that began in April 2023 between two former allies inside the Sudanese military establishment: the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
