DSS 2008 raffle excitement at Times Square Center on Aug 14
Times Square Center, a member of Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), will host the eighth DSS 2008 raffle draw on Thursday, August 14, to announce winners for prizes worth more than AED 650,000. Three raffle draws – the Dubai Shopping Malls Group Mega Raffle, the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group Raffle, and the Emarat draw, will be held beginning 7pm at the mall.
AED 3.5 million in prizes given away in DSMG Mega Raffle
As a key sponsor of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) since inception, DSMG has been running innovative events and activities that have helped attract an increased number of visitors to the shopping malls every year during DSS. As yet, the promotion has given away prizes shopping vouchers worth AED 3.5 million.
The current DSMG promotion comprises draws of AED 500,000 with five shoppers standing to win AED 100,000 each, every week. All shoppers making a minimum purchase of AED 200 will automatically receive raffle coupons and be eligible for entering the raffle. Shoppers using MasterCard will double their chances of winning every time they shop.
Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group Raffle
The Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group is giving away gold shopping vouchers worth a combined AED 1.1 million during DSS 2008. Apart from the daily giveaway of vouchers worth AED 10,000, a weekly prize of vouchers worth AED 50,000 is also on offer for gold enthusiasts. Shoppers can obtain vouchers when making a gold purchase as low as AED 300.
Emarat draw
The Emarat draw gives away two weekly prizes of AED 25,000 in cash and a 42-inch plasma television. Raffle coupons are available at all Emarat fuel stations for a minimum purchase of just AED 25.
The raffle draw will be accompanied by a fun filled thirty minute stage show narrated and hosted by TV presenter Hanane with performances by Kristy Gentz, the star of City 7 TV.
