du, the new telecom operator in the UAE, today announced an alliance that will make du SIM cards and airtime part of a loyalty card scheme offered to UAE subscribers by ARY Group. A family-run organization ARY has a strong base in Pakistan, India, UAE, UK and USA.
“The deal provides du access to a significant and growing market throughout the UAE and goes a long way in strengthening ARY’s value proposition for its subscribers,” said Osman Sultan, CEO of du. “Our partnership with ARY presents an excellent opportunity to expand on and consolidate our customer base, while offering ARY subscribers a glimpse into the complete and friendly telecom experience associated with our name.”
ARY’s loyalty card scheme enhances value-back on purchases of all ARY products. And, as part of its deal with du, ARY is offering UAE ARY loyalty card holders a du SIM and airtime in a value-back programme. The formula is simple – members purchase ARY items and get a credit of ARY Dollars which they can utilise as airtime on their du SIM. They can also use this on the BPN (The Business Partner Network), which has different product brands, electronics, restaurants etc on board.
Mohammed Iqbal, Chairman, ARY DIGITAL said: “Our partnership with du is driven by the desire to increase our value offering to our subscribers, rewarding their loyalty with a du SIM card and airtime at no extra cost. This alliance will bring value added benefits to our customers.”
ARY began operations as a gold business, in four distinct areas including gold bullion, jewellery, refinery and manufacturing. In parallel to this, ARY now has Digital TV, ARY International Money Exchange, ARY Cash & Carry and ARY Real Estate. Its latest venture, ARY Telecoms, is fully operational in Pakistan and its call card is considered to be the second most widely used in the country.
Among the group’s leading ventures is ARY Digital, the fastest growing South Asian TV channel, reaching over 107 countries. It offers a diverse programme range spanning sports to politics, culture to fashion, sitcom to game shows, education, entertainment and religion. The channel’s most popular interactive shows include the live current affairs programme and the ARY SAF stars Gold Quiz.
