du keeps customers plugged-in to the Olympics

du, the UAE’s integrated telecom service provider has announced Olympics packages for both du mobile and home services customers. For a one time fee of just AED10 for the entire event, du mobile customers can receive SMS Olympic alerts from the Beijing Olympics. All customers need to do is text OLYMPIC SUB to 4559 in order to subscribe.
 
The service includes breaking news on the UAE team or individual achievements, disqualifications, updated medals’ tally, news on a wide range of events, including football, wrestling, swimming, athletics, basketball and volleyball and the closing ceremony on 24 August.

du home service customers can watch the Beijing Olympic 2008 on Dubai Sports and Abu Dhabi Sports channels available on Basic TV package.  The Basic TV package is included with every TV subscription from du.
