Wagner worldwide had a group turnover of AED 546 million in 2008 and expects 25 per cent growth this year.
“Our Dubai Airport Freezone office is responsible for the Middle East and Asian countries. Our fire prevention and detection solutions are now installed in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, and Philippines,” said Mr. Thomas Schaedlich, General Manager of Wagner Middle East FZE. “Our fire prevention solution is unique in that it prevents fires from occurring and our fire detection equipment is so sensitive using advanced intelligent signal processing technology with a computer chip which has 6,000 fire protection patents. Our product is free from false alarms.”
Wagner’s OxyReduct product is a system based on many years of experience in extinguishing fires with nitrogen.
Mr. Schaedlich said “The system is basic as it is brilliant – if combustion is impossible, the risk of fire is eliminated.”
He is convinced that with OxyReduct fire prevention system, a solution is available which is based not on extinguishing fire but on making it impossible for a fire to start.
“For the first time in the history of fire prevention, action replaces reaction. An open fire cannot occur when using OxyReduct in a close room. This is achieved by introducing a regulated supply of nitrogen into the risk area, which reduces the oxygen level. However, these areas now protected by fire remains accessible,” he said.
Oxyreduct is ideal for permanent protection of its technical installations. Typical examples of such installations are telecommunications and EDP facilities, and fully automated manufacturing plants. Irreplaceable assets in data or art archives, clean rooms can also be protected against fires.
In the UAE, Wagner is protecting ammunition depots, exhibition centre, fodder plant, ordnance depot, high rise buildings, air flow ducts, logistics centres, server room, and stables. IT, Electrical rooms, warehouse, storage deep freezers, and a cement plant production area.
“We are proud that high tech companies offering innovative solutions in fire fighting, fire detection and fire suppression field had chosen to set up an office at the Freezone.
