Dubai Bone and Joint Center organizes ‘Orthopedic Update – 2010’

The Dubai Bone and Joint Center (DBAJ), a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Academic Medical Center, today announced it organized a one-day continuing medical education (CME) course on the latest trends and concepts in orthopedics and trauma.
 

Titled ‘DBAJ Orthopedic Update – 2010’, the event was held on 4 February at the Deira Sheraton in Dubai and focused on hip, knee, upper limb, pediatric orthopedics, trauma and pre and post-operative rehabilitation. The program that offered a profound insight into the latest medical advancements in these areas has been approved by Harvard Medical School Dubai Centre’s Department of Continuing Medical Education for 6.0 CME hours.
 

Directed by Dr. Shah Alam Khan, consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at DBAJ, the course was also addressed by international and local experts and specialists including Professor Shishir Rastogi, Professor of Orthopaedics & Unit Chief, Department of Orthopaedics, All India Institue of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India; Dr. Chandershekhar Yadav, Associate Professor of Orthopaedis, Department of Orthopedics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India; Dr. Ravi Mittal, Associate Professor of Orthopaedics, Department of Orthopaedics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India; Dr. J.P. Mordani, Consultant Interventional Radiologist, The City Hospital, Dubai; and Dr. William Murrell, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon – Sports, Dubai Bone & Joint Centre, DBAJ, Dubai – UAE.
