General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defense Minister returned home Monday following a two-day visit to Qatar during which he met with Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Qatari Emir.
Sheikh Mohammed was seen off at the airport by Sheikh Jassem bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatari Crown Prince and other officials.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed sent a cable of thanks to the Qatari Emir for the warm hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation throughout their stay in Qatar.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed also took part in the Arabian Camel Race Festival held in the Qatari capital Doha. In addition, he visited Qatar's industrial and investment projects and landmarks, according to Gulf News.
Sheikh Mohammed visited the industrial Ras Laffan city which includes a large harbor for exporting Qatar's gas. He was briefed by the director of Qatar's gas company on phases of discovering and developing gas fields, which places Qatar at the world's top major gas exporters. (Albawaba.com)
