The UAE’s Dubai last year deported 275 people infected with communicable diseases, reported the Gulf News, citing a report.
The Clinical and Medical Services Section of Dubai Municipality said in a report there were 278 cases of communicable diseases reported in 2000, and all but three patients had been deported.
The report said the number of such cases fell by 25.8 percent last year.
The report did not name the “communicable diseases” in question.
The section derived the figures from the number of expatriates seeking medical fitness certificates, said the paper – Albawaba.com
