Dubai eGovernment will highlight its new-look eJob application form at Careers UAE 2005, the career fair which is being organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre in association with Tanmia, at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, from May 16 to18 at stand M-1 in Sheikh Rashid hall.

A strong eGovernment team comprising senior officials and experts from Tawteen Recruitment and Human Resources Solutions, a division of HumanSOFT, will be on hand to advise students and young job-seekers on the changing job market in the region and the qualifications and skills needed to secure employment in chosen fields.

The Dubai eGovernment stand at Careers UAE 2005 will primarily focus the new-look eJob application form that provides the facility for applying for full-time as well as part-time jobs. eJob is a centralized job search system that brings on one electronic platform job seekers and recruiting departments through the portal ejob.dubai.ae.

“eJob was launched by Dubai eGovernment  as an electronic meeting ground for job-seekers. It eliminates the complexities of the physical process of job-hunting by bringing job-seekers and employers on an online platform, offering unmatched advantages to both sides,” said Salem Al Shair, Director eServices, Dubai eGovernment. “Job-seekers are assured that their CVs are accessed by all the participating companies from the private and public sector. They can also track the progress of their CVs and view all the vacancies posted by different companies. More significantly, Government departments are able to access the entire pool of CVs.”

“The application form of eJob plays a key role in attracting the attention of prospective employers in the private and public sector. We therefore felt the need to restructure the application form, in order to make it more responsive to the needs of job-seekers,” Al Shair said. “Dubai eGovernment is delighted to unveil the new application at Careers UAE 2005, the largest career fair dedicated to jobseekers. We are also pleased to tie up with Tawteen to offer consultancy to national jobseekers during the fair.”

Dubai eGovernment and Tawteen officials will provide consultancy as well as IQ and English language proficiency test at the Dubai eGovernment stand. Tawteen offers recruitment and placement services to Emarati as well as GCC nationals.
