The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), along with the Dubai Ports Authority (DPA) and the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafz), will organize the UAE pavilion at the Baghdad international fair to be held from November 1 to 10, according to an official announcement, quoted by the Gulf News.

Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, DCCI director general, said he expects a "strong" participation from commercial and industrial firms in the UAE--in the fields of foodstuff, equipment, electrical generators, oil field drills and equipment, plastic and metal pipes manufacturers, air conditioning, and medical instruments.

"All companies that will participate at the Baghdad fair, will be registered and included at the Ministry of Commerce in Iraq, which is considered an important gesture of the Iraqi government," he said.

Sultan bin Sulayem, Jafz chairman and DPA managing director was quoted by the daily as saying, "with its market potential and business opportunities, many international companies realize the trading importance of Iraq." – Albawaba.com
