Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), a member of TECOM Investments, highlighted its status as the region’s foremost dedicated higher education free zone to a group of educators and student recruitment agents at the ICEF (International Consultants for Education and Fairs) Middle East and Africa Workshop in Dubai.
Held from 1-3 February, the event witnessed Dr Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director, Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Village, successfully presenting the education cluster’s partner development efforts.
Founded in 1991, ICEF (International Consultants for Education and Fairs) offers a range of services to help clients achieve results in their student recruitment initiatives. ICEF caters to educators, student recruitment agents and industry-related service providers including universities, colleges, vocational institutions, study abroad advisors and educational consultants.
Dubai International Academic City currently hosts 32 institutions from 13 different countries including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, India, France, Singapore, Belgium, Russia, Pakistan, Iran, Lebanon and the UAE. Approximately 12,000 students are currently enrolled into the various programmes offered at the campuses, of which 3,500 students annually pass out of Dubai International Academic City.
