Dubai Municipality joins DQG as an investor partner

Dubai: Dubai Municipality has become today a strategic investor partner of Dubai Quality Group (DQG). The partnership was signed during the meeting which brought together representatives of both organizations at the Municipality Headquarter, where directors and senior municipal employees received the delegation of the group.
 
Following the signing of the partnership agreement, the two parties declared the beginning of a new era of bilateral cooperation characterized with the implementation of joint projects that are designed to serve both public and private sectors.

Commenting on the signing of the agreement, Mr. Obaid Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General of Administrative Affairs and Services said:
"The Municipality's management and staff observe to provide fast and effective services. The municipality has proceeded since its inception to work with the highest levels of quality, which enabled them to reach excellence and won many awards locally and internationally. The municipality is currently working on offering new and innovative mechanisms that would facilitate transactions and increase the volume of services commensurate with the size of the successive development of Dubai".

"We seek through this partnership to improve the performance of our staff and cadres, and to promote the principles of excellence among the departments of the municipality, as well as improving the quality of our services. We look forward to the implementation of innovative joint projects with Dubai Quality Group which would serve Dubai in particular and the business community in the country in general, in line with the future vision of the municipality which aims to support the process of sustainable development policies of the UAE". Added ِAl Shamsi.

 

For his part, Mr. Khalid Al Jowder, Secretary General of Dubai Quality Group, said: "This agreement comes in the context of the wide vision of the group to the implementation of many projects and programs in conjunction with government and private organizations in the country in order to make a quantum leap at the level of performance for companies and to improve the level of quality of services provided by organizations for the audience."

Mr. Al Jowder valued the important and effective role played by the municipality in the area of infrastructure development, performance and facilities management, and the strategic planning for the Emirate of Dubai. He emphasized that the municipality is one of the prestigious governmental organizations dealing with the implementation of quality standards in the services provided to the audience. He also stressed that Dubai Quality Group will play a supporting role along with the municipality to enable them to develop their functional services and cadres through counseling and specialized programs offered by the Group.

It is the belief in change and the strive for the development of Dubai that inspires Dubai Municipality to work in the planning, designing and managing of infrastructure, utilities and municipal services through the optimum use of human resources and materials, concentration on teamwork, adoption of modern initiatives and the recognition of innovators.
