Police in Dubai are investigating the murder of an American citizen, who was found in a pool of blood in his hotel room in Deira. According to 7DAYS newspaper, Lee Darnman, 42, was discovered on Friday when housekeeping staff at the Taj Palace Hotel went into his room to clean it.
“Our security officials wasted no time and informed the police who arrived at the hotel and took charge of the situation,” the manager of the hotel told 7DAYS. “The police were then called and the room was immediately cordoned off.
Sources at the hotel claim the American has been "brutally slaughtered" and that blood was all over the room. However, there has so far been no official confirmation of how the man was killed.
