Dubai Properties Group, today announced it has hosted “Heritage Revisited at The Walk”, an evening filled with traditional activities for Seniors from The Community Centre in Dubai and Sharjah. The event, organized with the support of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), was designed to honour the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Held at the Heritage Village in The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence, the evening represented DPG’s commitment to engaging UAE’s diverse population in the celebration of the regions vast history and culture. At “Heritage Revisited at The Walk”, senior citizens were entertained with a host of cultural activities including the Arabian horse show, Emirati wedding, traditional handicraft, dances and local cuisine. The traditional evening also gave senior citizens an opportunity to share their own memories of Dubai and to discuss their views on the vast changes and growth that they have witnessed.
