Dubai Quality Group (DQG), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the general performance level of the local business environment, has announced that it will be hosting an evening seminar entitled ‘Think on your feet’ for DQG members on Monday, 22 October 2007 at the Le Meridien Hotel in Dubai.

The Seminar will introduce the ‘capsules of persuasion’ concept that teaches participants how to present ideas clearly, concisely, persuasively and quickly. A comprehensive core program will cover topics such as getting to the point and being remembered; avoiding common communication traps; selling the benefits of your ideas, products and services; techniques to use when you are caught off guard; moving two opposing viewpoints to a middle ground; and more.

“This Seminar is perfect for all executives who need to be persuasive, quick thinking, and who need to explain complex ideas clearly; especially senior management who often need these skills when dealing with the media.  By encouraging our members to participate in our activities, we hope to significantly boost the overall competitive performance across the board, and thereby stimulate higher standards of excellence throughout the UAE,” said Marwan Al Sawaleh, Chairman, DQG.

The Seminar will be presented by Ken Everett, head of a multi-national Singapore-based company with a network of more than one hundred associates in eighteen countries.  He has delivered workshops and key-note presentations for many high-profile clients in the IT, professional services, finance and government sectors, leveraging his experience in the international training field for more than 22 years.

The ‘Think on your feet’ Seminar will be held from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and registration commences at 6pm.  For more information, visit the website: http://www.dqg.org
