Dubai World companies offer training, internships, and jobs to Emirati youth at Careers UAE 2008 Exhibition

Dubai World is all set to provide UAE national job seekers with detailed information on the internships, training programmes and recruitment plans for several vacancies that have opened up in its various subsidiary companies.
The global holding company is taking part in the eighth annual Careers UAE 2008 Exhibition, which is opening today (Tuesday April 15) at Dubai World Trade Center and will continue until April 17.
Dubai World companies Nakheel, Istithmar, Limitless, DP World, Dubai Maritime City, Drydocks World, Leisure Corp, Dubai Multi Commodities Center, Economic Zones World and Trakhees will be present at the Careers UAE 2008 Exhibition at the Dubai World stand.

DP World, one of the biggest marine terminal operators in the world, has announced that Higher Diploma and Bachelor graduates have opportunities in areas such as Human Resources, IT, Finance, Technical, Container Terminal Operations, Procurement, and commercial which consist of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Services.
DP World said it also encourages high school graduates to work with the company in Technical, Container Terminal Operations, General Cargo Operations, Documentation and Marine departments.
Graduates from colleges or high school will be provided with a structured training and development plan based on their educational level and the field of interest, the company announced.
Drydocks World, leading international player in ship repair, conversion, new building and other marine related activities, has comprehensive training programmes for graduates and college students. The company has announced that it has job openings for posts such as ship repair managers, conversions supervisors, dock masters, mechanical supervisors, pipes supervisors, hull treatment supervisors, tug masters, naval architects, marine engineers, buyers, stores auditor, expeditor, business developer, accountant, invoicers and estimators as well as in departments such as electrical, marketing and IT.
