All our initiatives under ‘dunia cares’ umbrella were possible thanks to the spirit of volunteerism and commitment of our staff and customers. This is only the beginning for us and it serves as further motivation to bigger and better things.”
‘Dunia cares’ is Dunia’s Corporate Social Responsibility program which focuses on lending a helping hand to causes that span public health, education, improving social conditions, and making a difference where it counts: at the grassroots. Since inception, Dunia has rolled out several community-based CSR initiatives to support causes such as supplying basic necessities to construction workers, blood donation drives, and English Literacy classes for those who are less privileged and in need to learn English.
Mr. Kakar added, “At Dunia, we are committed to our duty to help solve society’s most pressing problems through a spirit of volunteerism. As part of this endeavor, we proactively involve our staff and customers in relevant initiatives so as to empower people, enable success and enrich lives.”
