Dunkin’ donuts supports charity in Ramadan

East meets West in Ramadan charity campaign by leading coffee & baked goods chain

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, the month of giving - East meets West - with the announcement by Dunkin Donut’s, the leading coffee and pastry chain in the world will once again supports charity drive that will involve all their outlets nationwide.

Mr. David Rodgers, General Manager of Dunkin’ Donuts in the Middle East, said that during the Holy Month of Ramadan, customers visiting any one of the over 55 Dunkin’ Donut outlets across the emirates could take heart from the knowledge that they were contributing to a worthwhile cause. The special promotion is linked to Dunkin’ Donuts’ gift box of twelve donuts and the family pack. The customer could choose a selection of different donuts with a variety of fillings and glazes. For each pack purchased, a percentage of the cost would be given to charity. “Dunkin’ Donuts is a part of the fabric of the community in the UAE and we want to maintain our commitment to the thoughtful work of this agency,”
Mr. Rodgers added, “The Middle East with 300 million people is an emerging market. This market is driven by the Gulf which is a region of great successes. For Dunkin Donuts, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are key markets. The UAE is a key economy in the region and has a young population clamoring for a familiar brand in keeping with their busy lifestyles.”
He also said, “The unbeatable combination of superior blend of coffee, a wide range of donuts available in our shops more than any other coffee shop and superior customer service wins more and more customers for our brand.”
