Earthquake Jolts Egypt Tuesday, No Injuries

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter Scale shook Egyptian areas on Tuesday, causing panic among some residents, but there were no reports of casualties or damage, reported Al Ahram daily.  

The light tremor jolted two areas in Cairo, Helwan and Mayo. 

Also two governorates were hit by the quake, Al Jeeza and Fayyoum, said the paper – Albawaba.com
