Edutech Middle East, a leading provider of technology-enabled learning solutions, has announced the completion of an eLearning implementation for the Dubai School of Government (DSG), which involved the deployment of solutions from Blackboard. Leveraging the powerful functionality and ease of integration unique to ‘Blackboard’ products, this implementation provides a platform to complement different learning styles of students as well as varying teaching approaches of instructors. Faced by the challenges of boosting the level of involvement in student engagement, in addition to measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of the institution and ensuring that high quality standards, scalability and repeatability are achieved, DSG has commissioned Edutech to provide a convenient one-stop access to coursework and student services. Giving teachers the capacity to create powerful learning content, which can also be delivered on the system, the solution facilitates transfer of authentic and challenging content that engages the student in the learning process. Furthermore, the deployment also supports distance learning so that students can learn, at their own pace and convenience, the necessary skills to handle their responsibilities in their future careers.
