The Egyptian-Libyan joint committee is due to hold its 8th session in Cairo later this month.

The committee is expected to review several matters relating to developing bilateral relations in various fields, especially the economic and trade areas, according to Oman News Agency.

In addition, it will discuss means to increase trade volume between the two countries as well as ways to correct the imbalance in trade exchange by increasing exports and imports between the two countries as the trade balance between Egypt and Libya is at an estimated US$ 50 million as of now.
