Egypt to Provide Free Heart Surgery for Sudanese, Yemenis and Palestinians

Egyptian Health Minister Ismael Sallam has decreed that citizens of Sudan, Yemen and Palestine have the right to free operations at the Egyptian National Heart Institute, the daily Al Ahram said on Monday. 

Meanwhile, the dean of the institute, Sharif Abdel Hadi, announced that his staff would train heart specialists from Nigeria, South Africa and Syria to provide them with new skills in heart disease treatment and surgery.  

The goal of the training is to ensure that the surgeons provide services that reach international standards, he said – Albawaba.com
