Egyptian authorities have released 40 Palestinian detainees, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in the GAza Strip said Tuesday.
The ministry said in a Facebook statement that Egypt has allowed the freed Palestinians to cross Rafah border crossing into the Gaza Strip.
Egyptian authorities have yet to comment on the report.
In January, Egypt freed 45 Palestinians after being detained for "illegal" entry.
