Egyptian Minister of Social Affairs Aminah Al Guindi has announced that her country will send urgently needed aid to the Afghan people.
The ministry’s committee for relief and catastrophes and the Egyptian Red Crescent Association will cooperate to execute the relief plan, she said, according to the Cairo-based Al Ahram daily.
This move by the Egyptian government is similar to the aid campaign launched earlier to assist the Palestinians, the minister said – Albawaba.com
