An Egyptian semi-official daily accused Israel on Wednesday that it is "responsible" for the attacks on the US.
In its editorial, the pro-government "Al Akhbar" daily said that Tel Aviv is responsible for the crisis, hinting to the US pro-Israel foreign policy that led to mounting anti-US sentiments in the region and the world.
"Israel sacrificed Washington for it's own benefits," said the daily.
Al Akhbar criticized the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon’s proposal to send aid to the US, saying that he could help only by "implementing international resolutions." – Albawaba.com
