Egyptian foreign minister, Ahmed Maher, is expected in Morocco Tuesday on a two-day visit during which he will convey King Mohammed VI a message from President Hosni Mubarak, according to the official Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP).
The message deals with bilateral relations and consultations on the latest developments in the region, mainly the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, a source from Maher's office told MAP bureau in Cairo.
In view of the situation currently prevailing in the Middle East, said the agency, Morocco and Egypt agreed to postpone to a later date the official visit President Mubarak was to pay to Morocco as of January 11 to co-chair with king Mohammed VI the meeting of the Moroccan-Egyptian high joint commission.
