Two men, a Lebanese and Egyptian, were seriously injured in separate neo-Nazi attacks following the latest wave of bloody anti-foreigner assaults in Germany over the past ten days which has injured at least six people so far, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA), quoting an agency report Friday.
An unidentified Egyptian was beaten up and hurt during a late Thursday night attack in an expressway parking lot near the north German port city of Bremerhaven, said IRNA, quoting the German DPA news agency.
The report did not specify the nature of the man's injuries.
Following the incident, police temporarily detained three intoxicated men after a routine check on the expressway.
All three men were in their early 20s and reportedly belonged to the local Bremerhaven right-wing extremist scene, said DPA.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old Lebanese man was also brutally beaten up by at least four right-wing extremists in the north German town of Minden, said the agency, adding that he received facial injuries.
Police said all four suspects, facing an array of assault charges, have admitted to their roles in the attack.
International human rights groups have harshly criticized the German government's inability to stem the rise of right-wing extremist violence, which has killed at least 28 people and injured thousands over the past 10 years – Albawaba.com
