Egyptian Minister of Insurance and Social Affairs has hailed Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak the UAE President's wife and President of the General Women's Union, GWU, for her sustained efforts in serving the cause of UAE women and family, as well as Arab women and families.
Dr. Amina Al Gundi issued the statement in the course of the opening ceremony of a charity market in favor of blind women, which is being held under the auspices of Suzanne Mubarak, wife of the Egyptian President, according to Emirates News Agency.
Al Gundi toured the UAE pavilion at the market to acquaint herself with the exhibits on show. She was given a souvenir by Jamila Al Jarwan, wife of the United Arab Emirates ambassador to Egypt. (Albawaba.com)
