Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his wife arrived in Tunis Wednesday on a brotherly and business visit in response to an invitation extended by Tunisian President Zeine El-Abdine Ben Ali and his spouse.
The Egyptian leader and his Tunisian counterpart were to hold talks regarding bilateral relations, Arab, regional and international matters of joint concern topped by the Middle East crisis and the Iraq issue, according to KUNA.
Egyptian Ambassador in Tunis, Mahdi Fathallah earlier conveyed that the visit of President Mubarak was of great importance amidst the current regional conditions. (Albawaba.com)
