Egyptian Prime Minister Atif Ubeid received in Cairo, Iraqi Trade Minister Mohammed Mehdi Saleh, currently visiting Cairo to attend the 76th session of the Arab economic unity council.
According to INA on Tuesday, during the meeting, ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation and activating economic and trade cooperation in line with the joint Iraqi-Egyptian committee resolutions were discussed.
On his part, the Iraqi minister conveyed a letter from Iraq's Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadhan to the Egyptian Prime Minister, regarding bilateral economic cooperation development, INA added.
The Egyptian Prime Minister, for his part, reiterated his country's position towards the aggression on Iraq and Cairo’s efforts to prevent it, as well as Egypt's will to develop bilateral relations, the agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
