Saudi-led airstrikes on rebel-held arms depots in Sanaa resulted in explosions that killed at least eight civilians and wounded 20, a medical source told AFP on Monday.
Witnesses reported the strikes sent shrapnel flying as far as five kilometers into residential neighborhoods adjacent to Mount Noqum, where the base was located.
A similar explosion was reported on May 12, when airstrikes on a different arms depot resulted in an explosion that killed at least 69 civilians and wounded 250.
In May, The World Health Organization reported that fighting has killed nearly 2,000 people in Yemen since March.
