Sesame Workshop, the producers of Sesame Street, and the co producers for the Jordanian Hikayat Simsim, recently announced “Elmo’s Monster Maker” Application that is now available from the Apple Store. The application lets iPhone and iPod touch users make their very own Muppet character, and send it to a friend. Since there are thousands of combinations, it is easy to change the Muppet’s appearance and once finished, Elmo will dance and play with the Muppet.  Best of all, Elmo’s photos of the Muppet can go straight to a user’s iPhone or iPod touch photo album.
