Emaar Properties PJSC, the leading property developer, has opened the fourth mosque in Emirates Living, one of the pioneering community developments by the company in Dubai.

The elegantly designed Al Wahab Mosque, located in the Meadows Village near the Emirates International School, can accommodate 450 men and 100 women in addition to featuring an open courtyard for 200 people.

The mosque will add to the convenience of residents in The Springs, The Lakes, The Meadows, The Greens, The Views and Emirates Hills, which together constitute the Emirates Living community.

Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director – UAE, Emaar Properties, said the opening of the new mosque highlights the company’s commitment to create fully integrated lifestyle communities for residents.

“Emirates Living is one of the established neighbourhoods in Dubai and home to several hundred families. The new Al Wahab Mosque has been designed in the Andalusian architectural style and has special night lighting, making it an architectural landmark in the community. It will significantly enhance the convenience of residents in undertaking their daily and Friday Grand Prayers,” he added.

As part of its development ethos of creating integrated lifestyle communities, Emaar is currently developing a mosque in Arabian Ranches, another established community by the company.

Emaar Healthcare Group, the healthcare subsidiary of Emaar, had recently opened the Meadows Clinic in The Meadows, a part of Emirates Living. The community also has several shopping centres, schools, nurseries, Hayya! health and fitness clubs and other facilities.
