Fujitsu Siemens Computers unveils new LIFEBOOK S7210 Professional notebook
Fujitsu Siemens Computers is opening up new horizons in mobility with the new LIFEBOOK S7210 Professional notebook. With the growing reliance on mobility, an increasing number of regional organisations are arming its professionals with notebooks for uninterrupted access to information at all times.
The new LIFEBOOK S7210 professional notebook is optimised for superior performance and reliability for road-warriors, and uses UMTS/HSUPA for fast data transfer. The Integrated UMTS sets the standard for fast and simple Internet access while on the move as WiFI or wireless access is not required for connectivity. In the eighteen months since this technology has been available, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has become the European market leader in notebooks with integrated UMTS.

The LIFEBOOK S7210 comes with added features such as the spill-proof keyboard and the EcoButton. The spill-proof keyboard protects the notebook against fluid which could damage the device, while the EcoButton saves power and also protects the environment.
Weighing only 2.2 kg, the LIFEBOOK S7210 is one of the lightest 14.1-inch notebooks with a modular bay. The Intel Centrino Duo processor technology with Intel 965GM chipset enables efficient multitasking and significant increases in productivity. Integrated WLAN and Bluetooth, as well as UMTS/HSUPA, ensure high-speed Internet access. The LIFEBOOK S7210 also comes with an optional integrated 1.3 mega pixel webcam to facilitate video conferencing on the move.
The LIFEBOOK S7210 operates for an entire work-day thanks to its second battery and standard EcoButton which, when pressed, reduces the processor clock frequency and monitor brightness. This further extends battery lifetime by 10 per cent.
