Sheikh Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, the emir of Bahrain, arrived in Paris on Friday for talks with officials there.
The Gulf News Agency (GNA) reported that Sheikh Hamad would review with French President Jacques Chirac issues pertaining to bilateral relations as well as other matters of common interest.
"Bolstering bilateral ties between the two countries, and the situation in the West Bank and Gaza, will top the agenda of talks between the two leaders," said a statement issued on Thursday by the Bahraini Foreign Ministry, cited by the Saudi Press Agency - Albawaba.com
