emirates islamic bank launches “evening banking”
In line with the bank’s stated objective of ensuring customer delight, Emirates Islamic Bank announced the implementation of 'Evening Banking' at its Bur Dubai and Khaleej Center Branches effective from Sunday 8th July, 2007.
The business hours at these branches have now been extended up to 8 pm (instead of 3 pm). As such, the new timings will be 8 am to 8 pm from Sunday to Thursday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday.
Commenting on the new initiative, Mr Faisal Aqil, General Manager Retail Banking, said: “Being where our customers need us and when they need us has always been central to our business model. Furthermore, Dubai is becoming one of the world’s busiest business hubs and that has direct consequences on the “what” and the “when” of our customers needs. The preceding coupled with the fact that branch timings are a key part of a fulfilling customer experience prompted us to make this service enhancement”.
Emirates Islamic Bank is likely to roll this out to some other branches in the coming days.
