Emirates Millionaire Show 2006 closes today

Emirates Millionaire Show 2006, the region’s exclusive luxury exhibition, held at the Emirates Palace under the patronage of HH Sheikh Surour Bin Mohamed Al Nahyan closes today. Throughout the weekend, hundreds of visitors including Sheikhs, VIPs, regional business leaders and the crème de la crème of the Gulf society enjoyed the premiere of a variety of international luxury goods.

The three-day exhibition saw the launch of new jewellery collections, luxury cars, antique furniture, lavish property projects and cutting-edge fashion lines in a unique set up much to the delight of the visitors. 

Vitro Laser GmbH’s new line of LUMINO glass tables made with subsurface laser engraving technology was unveiled during the event. Senior executives from the company said, “The Emirates Millionaire Show 2006 provided us with an excellent platform to meet the region’s most influential business leaders. Our technology is used in the world’s most luxurious resorts and buildings and we are looking forward to making a thrilling entry to the GCC by furnishing one of the most anticipated and sumptuous hotel projects in the UAE.”

Presented for the first time was also the world’s most expensive computer mouse. The Diamond Flower, manufactured by Pat Says Now, is cast from 18-carat white gold and set with 59 brilliants. The prestigious computer accessory is compatible with both MAC and PC and is expected to become the next must have throughout the Gulf’s VIP offices.

Austrian-based “Luxury for VIP” was also amongst the show’s exhibitioners. With a slick line of diamond-encrusted lighters, jewel-cases and cigar humidifiers, the company guarantees uniqueness and quality in each of their designs and products. As explained by the luxury product modifier, “Luxury for VIP” strives to make the impossible feasible.

Bahare Majd, Managing Director of Divine Events, said: “The Emirates Millionaire Show set the stage for the launch of some of the world’s finest and most expensive products and brand names. We enjoyed an overwhelming turn-out by the public and we are glad we managed to bring luxury a little closer to home.”

The EMS is the result of a partnership between Divine Events and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI). The event is expected to become the annual premier showcase for luxury items in the region.
