Emirates NBD solidify its long standing support to Dubai Police

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, November 24, 2009 Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the Middle East in terms of assets proudly fulfilled  its sponsorship for the Second International Conference Sport Versus Crime, which took place at the Dubai Police Officers Club in the presence of officials and experts from more than 25 countries.

Second International Conference Sport Versus Crime aimed at analyzing the application of the outcomes of his Excellency Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoom's program for sports and physical fitness. It also enhanced the Police Force’s protective crime combating skills by activating sports as a necessary social and human activity in this field. It helped increase police performance during the confrontation of crimes by establishing new horizons through several channels, including physical activities represented by various sports. Moreover, it presented pedagogical and sportive models in facing up to crimes through the point of view of scientists, researchers, and professionals from different areas of crime science, police science and sports using both international and local standards.
