Emirates Palace showed once again that it is one of the region’s leading luxury hotels when, for the second year in a row, it won three platinum awards at last week’s MENA Travel Awards, including Best Conference/Convention Center, Best 5-Star Leisure Hotel, Best 5-Star Business/Corporate Hotel.

Noel Massoud, general manager, received the awards on behalf of Emirates Palace and thanked the organisers and guests for their vote of confidence in the iconic property. He said: “Again, we have shown that we are the leading conference and convention centre in the region, having won the same award last year. This speaks highly of our excellent facilities and affirms our status as the premiere venue of choice for business, entertainment and sporting events as well as exhibitions.”

For Massoud, the addition of two new awards reconfirms the hotel’s passion for excellence, underlying a continuing effort to improve service standards. “The Best 5-Star Leisure Hotel and Best 5-Star Business / Corporate Hotel awards underscore our dedication to provide the best leisure and business facilities for today’s diverse range of travellers. They inspire us to do better next year, not only because we want the prestige of winning awards, but also because we want our guests to keep coming back to Emirates Palace. This way, we also fulfil our commitment to boosting the growth of regional tourism in general,” he added.

The MENA Travel Awards 2007 recognise top hospitality properties in the Middle East & North Africa's growing travel industry. Last year, Emirates Palace was voted the Best New Hotel, winning the prestigious award along with the Best in Convention and Conference Facilities, and Best Tourism Project awards.
