Never to be outdone, Emirates SkyCargo will showcase its new investment in cargo management at this year's Air Cargo Forum (ACF), the world’s pre-eminent event for the air freight industry, marking the last phases of an exceptionally exciting year for the award-winning cargo carrier.

Taking place in Calgary from September 12th -14th, this year’s event will herald in a new era for Emirates SkyCargo, introducing new products which will provide benefits seen at every level of the supply chain.

Prakash Nair, Manager Network Cargo Sales Development said, “The Air Cargo Forum is an essential networking event for Emirates SkyCargo.  The opportunity for us to forge new partnerships as well as strengthen connections with our existing customers is exceptional.

He added: “With our recent major fleet expansion announcement at the Farnborough Airshow of 10 new Boeing 747-8F’s, achieving a milestone of  carrying one million tonnes and generating US $1 billion earlier in the year, and with major investments to IT and facilities infrastructure, we anticipate this year’s ACF to be one of our busiest yet.”

Emirates SkyCargo will welcome ACF attendees to its signature, double-storied, nose-loading freighter stand at the exhibition.  Hosted by Emirates cabin crew, the stand will be open to visitors interested in speaking to senior managers from Emirates SkyCargo and learning more about the carrier’s enhanced services and network.  Emirates SkyCargo’s presence will further provide visitors with an opportunity to learn more about Dubai, one of the world's fastest growing cargo hubs.

The conference and trade exhibition are expected to attract thousands of visitors.  In the past, the event has welcomed senior executives from various sectors of the industry including international airports, authorities, freight forwarders and finance companies.
